We have a wood-stove insert and it has been a few years since it was cleaned. I called Chim Chimney to clean and inspect the fireplace. I appreciate that the owner, Keith, was on site himself, not just an employee. He put down drop cloths before he cleaned the inside of the chimney and vacuumed it out. He checked the chimney for breaks and confirmed it was safe to use for another season. He does get busy once fall hits so keep that in mind when you're ready to schedule an appointment. I knew fire season was coming so I wanted to get him booked early.

Keith was great! Professional, knowledgeable and on-time. No problems with communication or getting back to us to set-up an appointment (as other reviews may have noted.) We live in a 3-story town home and luckily he was familiar with our dryer vent issues. To our horror, we found out that the vent was never properly installed and was spraying dryer vent lint all over our attic (a fire waiting to happen). We felt Keith really took the time to look at all the connection issues and ensure that everything was installed properly.
